Objective 1
Supervise and monitor the construction of WASH related activities in the field
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist line manager in planning of construction related water and sanitation activities in the targeted villages
- Assist supervisor in the preparation of BOQs for construction facilities
- Prepare regular reports on the progress of construction for the assigned sites
- Monitor and supervise the construction work including the work plans and quality of work if needed
Objective 2
Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of all provided WASH facilities
Tasks & responsibilities
- Ensure the proper use of WASH facilities/transfer the technical knowledge to Water Management Committees for appropriate use and maintenance of facilities
- Organzie and participate in awareness programms related to use of water and sanitation facilities, sanitation maketing faires etc with coordination of hygiene promotion team
Objective 3
Ensure appropriate community involvement delivery of essential WASH facilities and services
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist supervisor on forecasting and manage the delivery of the equipments and materials needed on the site in close collaboration with logistic department
- Involve Village Project Committees in all activities to make them self reliant
Objective 4
Ensure positive acceptance of ACF in the Area
Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintain good communication with beneficiaries and partner organization on the field
- Represent ACF with different community stakeholders at field level
- Respect to ACF Code of Conduct and Standards Operating Procedures for the area of operation and safety rules on the construction sites
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP
Internal
- Coordination and working together with project staff, DPM and Deputy Field Coordinator for quality implementation of WASH activities in the targeted areas.
External
- Excellent external relation and Coordination with PHED and stakeholder who are involved in WASH activities.
- Establish strong relation with PHED and Local authorities and local partners for their collaboration in activities implementation.
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
· Compile and submit weekly and monthly routine reports on progress of construction activities
· Ongoing communication with DPM/ Deputy field CO and WASH Coordinator.
· Technical input in donor reporti
