Assignment

Under the direct supervision of FSL Officer, the Training Facilitator is responsible for supporting the implementation of all interventions matching with ACTEDs quality criteria and strategy, and for developing open, mutually respectful, and accountable relationships with the target communities.

He/she is fully responsible of His/ her activity in terms of quality and deadline.

Chain of Command

Under the authority of:

  • FSL Officer
  • District Project Manager

Working Relations Internal Relations:

  • Community Mobilization Team
  • Village community

FLAT Team Functions

Key responsibilities :

  1. Implementation of the project
  • Assist and conduct training of community beneficiaries.
  • Assist in development of training manual for Vocational related activities.
  • Assist in household assessment &nominations of Vocational students & beneficiaries for various trainings to be held under the project in collaboration with community mobilizers.
  • Be alert to opportunities arising for learning, collaboration and partnership that may enhance quality and responsiveness of Vocational component of the Project.
  • Ensure that program strategies are implemented in a coherent manner in the field;
  • Work closely with FSL officer to ensure proper planning and implementation of trainings;
  • Liaise with local communities, Authorities and organizations in the field plan;
  • Provide weekly progress reports inclusive of challenges as well as the solution to FSL officer regarding progress of work.
  • Liaise with program staff of other ACTED offices to ensure proper information sharing.
  • Follow up all FSL related activities
  • Assist in linkage development of vocational trained students with other organization
  • Perform any other task assigned by the concerned supervisor
  1. Documentation
  • Fill, Check & control attendance sheets, and other relevant documents;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, team player and proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Command on presentation skills
  • Command on MS Office

Accountability to Communities and Beneficiaries

The staff member is responsible for ensuring that all relations with the communities we work are conducted in a respectful and consultative manner.  Due attention must be paid to ensure that communities are adequately consulted and informed about ACTED programme objectives, activities, beneficiary selection criteria, and methodologies.  This Is the responsibility of all ACTED staff members.
