Job Purpose

In Pakistan, ACTED has been active since 1993 and has provided assistance across all provinces to an estimated 6.9 million people. The assistance has included emergency response to meet the immediate and live-saving needs of natural disaster and complex emergency affected households, as well as recovery and development support in the form of education and livelihoods promotion and assistance.

The job holder is responsible for providing community capacity strengthening support, and coordination of the planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation and reporting of the Education core program being implemented by ACTED in North Sindh and KPK. The Job Holder will take responsibility for support of the Education core program to promote safe, supportive learning centers and communities that increase the participation of children to enable them to develop to their full potential.

Objectives

  1. To ensure program is achieving on all Value for Money benchmarks
  2. To develop and monitor on all stringent quality assurance mechanisms targeting children, teachers and community members.

Coordination with relevant federal authorities and consortium members.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1.2. Project  Implementation

  • The program quality officer will be responsible to periodically check and report on whether program is functioning according to standard operating Policy, She will be responsible to find program gaps and share the findings with relevant supervisor,

1.1. Internal Coordination

  • To compile monitoring visits by following weekly action plan
  • To submit fortnight and monthly program progress reports
  • To record meeting minutes and maintain a digital repository
  • To ensure all project documentation is filed in an organized manner
  • To make sure other IP staff members are visiting field according to the plan

·        Daily coordination with field staff to check about progress of various indicators

 

1.2. Technical Leadership:

The program quality officer will perform appropriate analysis to inform program activities and course     correction. Mainly reports will be generated on learning outcomes, selection and training of teachers, center space verification, center open status, children enrolment, dropouts and transition.
