Key responsibilities :

  1. Implementation of EDT, BNL and ML Activities
  • To implement Livelihood activities under the BDRP Project
  • The Livelihood Officer must ensure that the/she understand the program strategy for all activities being implemented, and related objectives, intended outcomes, beneficiary criteria etc.
  •  Ensure effective planning and implementation of respective field activities in accordance with the program strategies defined by the ACTED Project Manager and endorsed by the Area Coordination;
  • Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted under the project in line with the program strategy and intended output[s];
  • Working closely with the community mobilization team to ensure proper supervision and monitoring of ACTED activities;
  • Properly recording all activities according to the processes defined by the Project Manager and endorsed by the Area Coordination;
  • Providing regular progress reports to the direct supervisor regarding outputs achieved and progress of work;
  • Providing relevant records of implemented activities to the Database team in a clear and timely manner, for entry and update;
  • Ensure timely implementation of livelihood activities.
  • Document in the timely manner, all progress challenges, and learning for future implementation of similar projects and accountability.
  • Lead assessment in the operational area for livelihood interventions.
  • Conduct regular field visits to verify quality /progress of Livelihood Program interventions provide technical guidance and advice.
  • Over all coordination of project activities.
  • Works closely with the FLAT team to ensure all supply request related to the On-Form and Off Form procurements are done timely and according to procedures.
  • Monitor budget / expenditure and report variances to the project Manager in a timely manner for proper planning and effective utilization.
  • Support, train, and advise the volunteers whose roles are to mobilize the community and help in a day-to-day implementation of the project activities in a given location.
  • Coordination with Govt. Line Departments.
  • Accomplishment of any other task, assigned by the Project Manager, related to the Project activities.

  1. Documentation
  • Ensure preparing and maintaining the documents/evidences as required for each and every activity respectively.
  • Ensure getting update record at field level if required any.
