Responsibilities as UI Designer
- Design and communicate the visual direction of the user experience within your product team.
- Maintain quality at all stages of the design process and ensure that when designs are translated into code they accurately reflect the design specifications.
- Communicate your design rationale to product managers, UX designers, researchers, analysts and project stakeholders and be confident to defend your design choices.
- Create, iterate and maintain UI deliverables including sketch files, style guides, high fidelity prototypes, micro interaction specifications and pattern libraries.
- Work closely with the creative side of the design team to ensure creative content is being considered and integrated into the product teams work.
Key skills/experience for UI Designer:
- You have at least 2 years' experience working as a UI Designer, preferably working int he design industry.
- You have experience using Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision and Principle (or similar).
- You have an understanding of front end mark-up (HTML/CSS).
- If you are passionate about designing pixel perfect interfaces and are passionate about all aspects of digital design, then this is the perfect role for you!
