• Review monthly/quarterly/annual trial balance together with all the schedules, divisional profitability, preparing information for budgets, Divisional/Inter branch control accounts reconciliations, Operational vs. Financial data reconciliation and timely submission of the same to Head Office as per the SOPs and deadlines defined.
  • Manage approval of cheques (related to commissions, claims & other payments) on daily basis.
  • Review collection statement, premium and claim reconciliations on daily basis.
  • Coordinate with insurance brokers, agents and co-insurance companies regarding dealing and resolving with premium related issues.
  • Responsible for follow up of receivables from customers/co-insurers and settlement of co-insurance balances.
  • Deal with internal and external stakeholders e.g. department al heads/sales staff/external auditors/ internal auditors/consultants to handle day to day queries.
  • Manage planning and monitoring of financial budgets at the division.
  • Ensure training & development of reporting staff; Manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support, feedback, and formal appraisal; Handle administrative issues including leaves, grievances and other issues and identify training requirements to develop the reporting team
