· Underwriting of complex cases as per company guidelines/standards
· Coordination with cross functional teams specially Banca and Agency ops and Sales team
· Involvement in departmental projects which results in operational efficiency and managing TATs (turnaround time)
· Correspondence with Re-insurer for referral cases
· Meetings with medical bodies if necessary
· Maintain service TATS for internal and external customers
· Controlling of complaint ratio with respect to banca and agency operations
· Implementation / Compliance to underwriting guidelines and processes
· Involvement in New Business Operations area
· Supervision of Underwriting Processes and Activities
· Signing off refund of premiums through cancellation, decline or postponement
· Provide timely information on team performance and specific issues that might arise; confer with management and executives to set departmental goals, guidelines, and objectives
· Conduct quality control audits and ensuring that personnel followed proper procedures and company guidelines, and properly documented case documents etc.
· Maintain a strong working knowledge of business processes, guidelines, products and systems
· Continually look for ways to improve the underwriting process and customer experience
