The staff is required initially for one year but the project is likely to be extended. The applications must reach by 25th June,2019 COB.
The Mentor is expected to perform the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
· Conduction of project related field activates in NEF and ALP centres
· Ensure and make efforts for safeguarding polices implementation in project area
· Organize hands on training for respective teachers on using interactive learning approaches with focus on Protection issues.
· Submission of reports and case studies to project coordinator
· Conduct regular monthly progress review and planning meeting at district level
· Any other assignment which is mandatory to achieve the objectives of the program
· Able to travel to attend training and meetings at District level
· On need bases, conduct Child Protection related training.
ABES-Teacher Empowerment Centre – regional office of ABES was instituted in 1993 in Rawalpindi, working for the promotion of quality education in government and community schools. It exclusively focuses on improving the standard of teachers by providing quality in formal and non-formal primary education. ABES-TEC pioneered the concept of Joyful Learning and initiated Multi-grade Teaching System in Pakistan. It carries out various activities with I/NGOs, Teachers, Communities, Education Departments and Teachers’ Training Centres in all over the country. ABES-TEC’s project interventions revolve around the educational programme of the organization. The areas of work mainly included the components of project planning, field implementation, monitoring, capacity building, and materials development related to Early Childhood Education (ECE), primary formal and non-formal education, adult literacy (functional), Disaster Risk Reduction and social mobilization and community development.
