Based in the company's shared service center in Lahore, you will lead a team which provides accounting & reporting support to multiple global client companies.
This position envisions a young and energetic person with some good experience (preferably with an accounting firm) which could train and manage a team of accountants and could him/herself be further trained and rapidly developed.
You will be required to work independently (leading a team) within a paperless, fully computerized accounting environment and handle a wide range of accounting and reporting responsibilities including daily postings, reconciliations, generation of weekly reports and preparation of financial statements, for a global client base, through cutting edge technology enabled tools and systems.
You must have a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CMA or similar) or a post graduate degree in commerce with min three years of experience within an accounting practice or industry.
You must be familiar with working on an integrated accounting software and must possess the below given skills:
· Ability to work under pressure and meet non-negotiable deadlines.
· Ability to analyse data to present concise and meaningful reports.
· Disciplined and structured work approach.
· Willingness to enthusiastically participate in organization’s continuous learning initiatives
Prior experience of working with QuickBooks accounting software will be an advantage.
