This position sits in the Recruitment, Engagement, and Growth division of Adventus where a 'one team' approach is required working alongside colleagues in sales, business development, customer experience, and shared services. Our one team is focussed on the entire student journey from application to enrolment to ensure we deliver our goal of being a 'high quality, high service’ provider.

The officer is responsible for the assessment and submission of offer ready applications with Adventus institution network represented by Adventus.io.

Essential 

  • 2 years of work experience within the international education industry. 
  • Experience of using computerised systems/databases to achieve work goals and tasks. 
  • Experience of Admissions for UK and Australia, other destinations are a bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing end-to-end guidance to the recruiters regarding regional assessment and lodgement of offer-ready applications to the institutions. 
  • Should undertake specific responsibilities relating to key areas defined by the company include, but not restricted to:
  • Regional document checks against the academic and English language requirements 
  • Review student applications and ensure that all information and documentation provided by the counselor/recruiter is accurate and complete for submission
  • Confirm the recognition of the local award by checking against any available international education framework or/and local awarding bodies
  • maintaining awareness and understanding of the provider’s academic processes and relevant policies. 
  • Guide the recruiter through the application process upon understanding the provider’s admission standards to decide whether to approve or reject the profile. If approved process their paper/online application further and answer any queries on the platform.
  • Conduct relevant compliance checks during the assessment stage to ensure that the student meets the provider’s entry and language requirements. 
  • Liaise with the recruiter on the missing documentation and information for the application submission process.
  • Maintain all necessary reports and provide regular updates to the manager as required. 
  • Apply a good understanding of relevant GTE and compliance criteria, policies, and guidelines to assess and make fair, and reasonable decisions when assessing and lodging by using sound judgment and reasoning.
  • Respond to inquiries of greater complexity from recruiters and share findings with the stakeholders where required.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities on a day-to-day basis while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Take responsibility for ongoing personal and professional development and seek opportunities to extend skills and knowledge.
  • Work in collaboration with the regional admissions teams on special projects to ensure quality processes and high customer service consistency and excellence across regional admissions.  
  • Maintain a deep working knowledge of the Adventus portfolio and possess relevant industry knowledge.
  • The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information and always meet the requirements of the organization’s Data Protection and privacy policies.
  • Accurately maintain databases; organize and maintain files and records, electronic and physical. Produce and develop reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and statistics for submission) as required to produce data-driven actions with regards to particular universities, recruiters or geographic regions. Supporting the senior management teams with management reports and special projects.
