ADWEB STUDIO is looking to hire a skilled WordPress/PHP Developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
To ensure success as a PHP/WordPress Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages and a good eye for aesthetics. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress Developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.
PHP/WordPress Developer Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the team to discuss website design and function.
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Developer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Ability to project manage.
- Good communication skills.
Should have expertise on:
- professional experience programming for interactive or web-based projects
- Coding skill in PHP/PHP5 and Front End development experience
- Must have advanced skills in DHTML, AJAX, Action Script 2/3, CSS, and XHTML
- Strong database knowledge specifically in MYSQL 4/5
- Ability to transform designs into W3C compliant, clean CSS / HTML
- Strong knowledge of current web standards & browser/platform compatibility issues
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
- Strong strategic design, concept, and communication skills.
