We are looking for a manufacturing supervisor to supervise our manufacturing team and ensure continuous flow of scheduled shop floor tasks. Primary goal of manufacturing supervisor will be to properly organize staff members and achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the day. This position will also include directing, disciplining, training, and assisting lower-level manufacturing employees in a factory setting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that manufacturing staff achieve targets by communicating expectations, monitoring, and evaluating job results
- Compile and analyze production records as well as team performance
- Enforce company policies and guidelines
- Implement cost-saving strategies and techniques on shop floor
- Communicate with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed
- Evaluate the condition of production equipment and report accordingly
- Assess the training needs of individual team members and plan the trainings accordingly
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all workers
Requirements
- At least 15 years’ experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing environment
- Excellent coaching and communication skills
- Team management, organization and disciplining skills
- Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
- Broad knowledge of production planning processes
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation
