Our Company is looking for a JUNIOR & SENIOR Accountant to join its finance team.
Carry out the day-to-day duties of planning, forecasting, bookkeeping, monthly account reconciliation, cash flow tracking and projections and analyzing accounts.
Specific responsibilities include:
Booking monthly investment related journal entries into Quick Books.
Monthly reconciliation of bank and investment accounts to custodial statements.
Monthly preparation of consolidated balance sheets, profit & loss and cash flow statements and supporting schedules among various entities.
Preparing annual cash flow budgets, with quarterly actual to expected analysis.
Booking alternative investment transactions into investment reporting platform.
Maintaining and reconciling investment reporting platform and related performance reports (manager performance, asset allocations, capital gains, interest/dividend income, alternative/fixed income analytics, etc.)
Assist the CFO and external CPA firm with quarterly income tax estimates and annual return preparation.
Preparing ad hoc analysis and reports upon request.
Communicating effectively with issues that will come up
Communicating with CFO and external CPA firm on various work issues that arise
The ideal candidate must have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Intermediate understanding of accounting standards
CPA or (in progress) preferred
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Experience with impact investing preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
Ability to work independently, but also work well with others
Approaches projects with a sense of urgency
Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
