Afzal Group of Electronics is looking for a Group Head Taxation
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist CFO in Tax Planning across Group Entities with minimum tax exposure
- Abreast with latest Income Tax and Sale Tax Laws, Rules and Case Laws and their implications
- Supervise the Statutory Filings of Monthly Sales Tax Return within the timelines
- Co-ordinate with Suppliers in getting the timely invoices on Tax Portal with the target the claim the input tax within the same period (zero loss of input)
- Responsible for maintaining the Sales Tax Record fully in-line with the financial records
- Supervise the Point of Sales Implementation project (in progress at present)
- Supervise the periodic filling of Withholding Tax Statements of Suppliers and Employees as per the Income Tax Rules
- Represent the company at LTU and relevant adjudication forums independently
- Hands on working knowledge of Transfer Pricing for Related Parties Transactions
- Independent handling of Tax Notices and correspondence
- Knowledge of Custom Related Matters for imported shipments
- Co-ordinate with Tax Consultants (Sales Tax and Income Tax), where require
