Manager Internal Audit

Candidates will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating business processes and internal controls. Candidate will perform operational, financial, and information system audits throughout the company and prepare audit reports. Audits a variety of internal activities and/or procedures for the purpose of ensuring compliance with prescribed auditing standards, detecting issues occurring at the branch level so proper resolution can be determined.

Gather data for internal audit through a variety of methods

Researches discrepancies of financial information and/or documentation for the purpose of reaching resolution, ensuring accuracy of data and complying to established procedures.

Responds to inquiries from a variety of sources (e.g. staff, auditors, government agencies, etc.) for the purpose of providing information to branches and/or direction related to accounting issues and clarification as needed.

Carry out regional and zonal financial and operational audits as per the approved internal audit plan.

Monitor implementation of SOPs and other company guidelines in all areas of operations.

Produce accurate and timely accounting reporting that meets all requirements agreed to with internal and external stakeholders.

Perform monthly reconciliations for institutional accounts

Research differences and follow through until resolution of issues

Reconciles non-posted payments.

Any other duty assigned by management.
