The Project Manager – Rehabilitation will be responsible to manage the overall project, co-ordinate with the Project Management Company, designers, AKS core engineering team when required, suppliers, contractors, with school staff and all other keys stakeholders to ensure that the school is handed over on budget, in time, to all desired quality expectations and in accordance with all health and safety legislation. Co-ordination with the school principal to define logistics, phasing /access to areas and the scheduling of partial handovers before a final project handover will be critical to ensure that construction works don’t hinder and obstruct ongoing education as the upgrading works will be carried out over a two-year period and most of the works will be carried in ‘live’ fully functional schools.

The Project Manager Building Rehabilitation will ultimately be the onsite representation of the Aga Khan Schools in all technical and construction matters associated with the project. 

A candidate having an MS Project Management with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience will be preferred. S/he should have effective communication and interpersonal skills and have a good command of MS Office
