The Aga Khan Foundation (Pakistan) [AKF(P)] is seeking high caliber professional for the following position to be based in Islamabad:

1. ASSISTANT PROGRAMME OFFICER, CONSTRUCTION/PROJECT ENGINEER

The incumbent will report to the Programme Officer, Built Environment and will be responsible for monitoring of construction projects and activities of AKF(P).

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To monitor the construction activities in field on regular basis and prepare the progress reports.
  • To review the construction drawing and progress reports and coordinate with the implementing partners, consultants/contractors and ensure the execution of construction activities as per work plan.
  • To develop the TORs and tender documents for the contractors,consultants and implementing partners for the construction activities.

Required Qualifications:

The incumbent should have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with good written & spoken English, excellent interpersonal skills & knowledge of MS Office, flexibility to travel and ability to work in a diversified team environment are encouraged to apply.
