The Business Development Representative will engage in consistent outbound calling to initiate sales opportunities, actively promote retail solutions, and convert leads into confirmed orders. This role demands excellent negotiation skills, familiarity with customer relationship management practices, and proficiency in communication in both English and Urdu. The position offers a structured daily routine supporting targeted performance metrics such as call volume, lead conversion, and appointment setting. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for updating CRM records, managing WhatsApp inquiries promptly, and supporting field sales staff by scheduling meetings and coordinating with technical teams when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Make 60 to 100 outbound calls daily to potential and existing business customers including retailers, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, and wholesalers.
- Promote company products, services, ongoing promotions, package deals, and bundled offers tailored to retail clients.
- Generate new business leads through online research including platforms such as Google, Facebook, business directories, and local listings.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate contact records within CRM software and Excel sheets, ensuring all customer interactions and sales activities are documented.
- Explain product benefits, pricing, and features clearly to prospects, using digital assets such as catalogs, images, and videos to enhance presentations.
- Convert inquiries and leads into confirmed sales orders by addressing customer concerns and demonstrating value propositions.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with hot leads, warm leads, and long-term prospects using a structured time frame to maximize sales success.
- Reengage inactive customers and collect customer feedback post-delivery or installation to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage customer communications through WhatsApp Business, ensuring all queries receive prompt responses and customer records remain current.
- Schedule appointments, product demonstrations, and technical visits in coordination with field sales and support teams, confirming customer availability.
- Prepare and submit daily reports detailing call volumes, leads generated, quotations sent, follow-up activities, orders confirmed, and general customer feedback.
- Meet and strive to exceed established key performance indicators, including outbound call numbers, lead generation targets, follow-up completion, and appointments booked.
- Apply strong negotiation and objection-handling techniques to overcome sales barriers and close deals successfully.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless customer experience from initial contact through to product delivery and installation.
- Maintain a professional and courteous communication style in all interactions, adapting to customer needs and cultural nuances.
- Leverage basic computer skills to navigate CRM platforms and communication tools effectively, enabling streamlined sales processes.
- Uphold company policies and ethics, ensuring transparent and honest dealings with all potential and existing customers.
