The Manager of Credit Research at Agay Barho plays a pivotal role in directing research efforts that support the companys credit rating and economic evaluation functions. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Research Departments work plan for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual activities including sectoral studies, dashboards, and external assignments.
- Provide strategic leadership ensuring all research activities support organizational goals and long-term vision.
- Lead the Equity Research function by expanding sectoral and company coverage and supervising the timely delivery of data-driven research outputs.
- Review and approve sectoral reports, economic analyses, thematic studies, dashboards, and proposals to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to research standards.
- Ensure the timely preparation of key reports including Event Insights, Budget Commentary, sectoral updates, and dashboards that inform strategic decision making.
- Monitor and analyze industry and macroeconomic trends to keep the companys strategies adaptive and aligned with market changes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four research professionals, promoting a culture of analytical rigor, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to leverage knowledge sharing, enhance research capabilities, and strengthen the company's market position.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality or depth of analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards to guide research practices.
- Utilize advanced financial databases, Excel, and research tools to support comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment tasks.
- Communicate complex financial insights clearly and effectively in written reports and presentations to internal and external audiences.
