We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As an IT Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in the IT industry by effectively managing a team of sales professionals. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in IT sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and maximize sales potential in the IT sector.
  2. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to ensure individual and team success.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and networking.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their business needs and presenting appropriate IT solutions.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and technical support, to ensure effective customer engagement and satisfaction.
  6. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our IT solutions.
  7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for business growth and improvement.
  8. Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and generate regular reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT sales to enhance personal knowledge and contribute to the team's success.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A technical degree or certification in IT is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in IT sales, preferably in a managerial role, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  3. Strong understanding of the IT industry, including hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based solutions.
  4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance in a sales team.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  6. Solid negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering value and achieving win-win outcomes for both the company and the client.
  7. Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  8. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and generate sales reports.
  9. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  10. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company at conferences or trade shows.
