1. Manage balance sheets and proft/loss statements
2. Reconcile financial discrepencies by collecting and analysing account information
3. Must have sound knowledge of taxation
4. Secure financial information by completing database backups
5. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
6. Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
7. Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
8. Provide input into department's goal setting process
9. Support month-end and year-end closing process
10. Assist in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
11. Communicate effectively with vendors
12. Communicate with Manager on work status and vendor related issues that arise
