Aice Pakistan is seeking a reliable and skilled Driver with a minimum of five years of experience to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate demonstrates safe driving practices, comprehensive route planning, and adherence to road safety compliance. This role requires excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English, punctuality, and regular attendance. The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and personnel efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This position does not include team management responsibilities but plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and timely operations within the company.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, strictly following traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Plan and select optimal routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery or transportation services.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle to adhere to company standards.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to road safety compliance and defensive driving techniques to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route status, delays, or issues.
- Ensure punctuality and regular attendance to meet scheduled transportation demands consistently.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring careful handling and security of items.
- Stay informed about changes in traffic laws, vehicle regulations, and company policies affecting driving operations.
- Report any accidents, vehicle malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate authorities within the company.
