Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and handle samples according to established protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and software tools to facilitate analysis and data collection.
- Manage a team of six laboratory staff members, providing direction, training, and performance feedback to maintain high standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, observations, and test results.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Coordinate daily laboratory activities to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations to provide a safe working environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and procedural problems to minimize disruptions in laboratory operations.
- Prepare reports and present findings to the management or relevant stakeholders as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
