1. Identification of funding sources
AIMS Pakistan, being non-profit is eligible for various types of funding for projects. The Program Officer (PO) Public Health shall actively search funding opportunities through all available sources, like newspapers, donors, websites etc.
2. Proposal Development Assistance
PO Public Health shall assist in the development of the project proposals. He/ she will carry out the required coordination with relevant experts/AIMS Advisors to get their assistance in proposal development.
3. Proposal Writing
PO shall draft the proposal according to the requirements of the funding agency.
4. Report Writing
Writing reports of activities related to the Public Health Division and AIMS Pakistan as assigned by senior management shall be responsibility of the Program Officer.
5. Coordination with Partners
PO Public Health will actively coordinate with the existing and new partners of AIMS Pakistan.
6. Implementation of Activities
PO Public Health will be responsible for the implementation of activities in the field including project activities, medical camps or others as assigned to implement by the senior management. This may require travel to various location. The role is also expected to lead and perform monitoring and evaluation of activities as well.
