About the Role

The Inventory Lead (Warehouse) role requires a highly driven and reliable individual to help manage daily operations across warehouses. The role is a full-time, permanent, non-corporate role that will execute various operational objectives for Airlift Express. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who gravitate toward a process-driven approach to solving operational challenges at the warehouse.

This role will own scaling sub-functions and processes to build an efficient supply network for Airlift Express' operations, including: 

  • Manage end-to-end inventory flow -- ensure smooth operations from inventory check-in to check out in line with strategic targets,
  • Report daily operating metrics -- track and report on daily metrics,
  • Inventory Management -- Maintaining inventory accuracy, organization and storage do drive down losses and improve order accuracy,
  • Team Management -- Managing teams to ensure performance on key deliverables,
  • Training -- Training of new and existing team members on different workflows

In addition to the above, successful candidates will demonstrate strong people and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of independent operators.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with effectively managing inventory, vendors, and third parties,
  • Ability to proactively own operational tasks with consistency and reliability,
  • Excellence in staying organized and documenting key outcomes,
  • Strong communication skills, especially with riders/delivery operators,
  • Hustle and availability to chase up on impromptu issues and resolve these,

In addition to the above, successful candidates will give the Airlift team the ability to move faster by owning the operational deliverables on a day-to-day basis.
