We are looking for a highly motivated IT professing with good knowledge of IT, Web hosting services, cloud services, domains and dedicated servers and hands on basic IT skills in Linux and Windows environment.
- Assisting with and maintaining customer solutions, Able to Help with server setup, configuration and support, advising with client issuesExperience building, installing and supporting Linux server(s),
- Excellent customer service skills with working experience
- Experience of Linux and Windows systems in a networking environment
- We’re more than happy to train an enthusiastic individual, but it would be desirable if you had the following:
- Experience of Linux systems administration in a hosting environment
- Experience installing, configuring and supporting Apache/NGiNX, MySQL/PostgreSQL, FTP and Mail Servers, custom configurations
- Exposure to diagnosing various server issues using standard open source tools
- Exposure to command line scripting
- Experience using Linux control panels, such as cPanel and/or Plesk
- Exposure to programming languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, HTML and SQL
- Hands on experience with Database and server performance and security fine tuning and server hardening
- Certification is plus pointKnowledge of web hosting control panels
- Closely work together with technical head and sales team
- Active member of global sales and technical support team
Job Specification:
- Knowledge of ticket management system,Experience of handling live chat, telephone calls for webhosting sales and technical support services
- Knowledge of web hosting control panels i.e. cPanel/ WHM, Plesk, website panel
- Knowledge of VPS management control panels i.e. soluxVM, Proxmox
- Knowledge of mail servers, DNS servers and virtualization
- Knowledge of server hardware
- Knowledge of MS Server2008, 2012 and Exchange Server 2007, 2010 and office 365
- Exposure of cloud platforms and services (like Amazon AWS , Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure)
