Job Overview:
The marketing & social media manager will be responsible to grow online donations in the USA.
We are seeking a motivated, self-starter with experience in marketing and social media across all platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, e-blasts, direct mail, print collateral, and by employing other marketing tools.
- The ideal candidate would have worked within or with the marketing department of a marketing/advertising agency preferably for a non-profit organization based in the USA or worked for a USA based company directly.
- In short, the ideal candidate will be a mature person realizing the importance of these support roles to the overall success of our organization.
- The success in this position will entail a strong understanding of the key points for a successful social media and marketing presence and how to be the “voice” and “face” of AKHUWAT in US market.
- Marketing strategy and a strong understanding of data are required. The right person for this role understands non-profit marketing, and the weight of social media and PR are two sides of the same coin involved in promoting key messaging in both owned, organic, and earned channels.
