Educational Requirements:
- B.Com/M.Com/BS Accounting & Finance
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in relation to accounting
- Working experience with accounting software especially cloud computing

Job brief:
- We are looking for an Accounts Officer. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The candidate should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing of vouchers, recording business transactions & review
- Correction of Entries
- Data entry in computerized software
- Assistance in annual budget
- Preparing of invoices
- Stock keeping, recording entries etc.
- Assistance in preparing annual purchase schedule
- Assistance in solicitation of bids
- Bidders track record and market research
- Assistance in Supplier selection and short listing
- Maintaining purchase order register
- Assistance in processing and payment against invoices
- Assistance in preparing payroll and payments against services
- Fixed assets recognition in books of accounts
- Treatment of minor renewal & repairs
- Assistance in preparing cost of assets, purchase & disposal of assets.
- Record keeping in cash management
- Preparing petty cash register
