Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate financial and operational risks within the organization.
  • Perform detailed evaluations of internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness.
  • Plan and execute audit activities, including scheduling audits and defining audit scope based on risk priorities.
  • Review accounting and financial record-keeping processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Detect and investigate potential fraud or irregularities within financial practices and procedures.
  • Utilize SAP systems to analyze transactional data and support audit processes.
  • Assess internal staff productivity and operational workflows to recommend enhancements that increase efficiency.
  • Prepare clear, detailed audit reports that summarize findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
  • Present audit conclusions and improvement strategies to upper management in an organized and professional manner.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable federal regulations and corporate policies throughout all audit activities.
