Monitor firefighting system, make it effective, and do monthly fire drills.
Check and monitor waste water system and make effective use and optimize water usage at processes.
Prioritize House Keeping around the plant area and inside and outside areas as well; i.e. scrap yard, gate areas, wood yard, bagasse yard etc.
Liaison with Store, Warehouse, Raw Material Supply Chain and LIR for effective co-ordination and smooth operations.
Apply production & maintenance management best practices and concepts.
Hold daily meetings with the team for effective results and follow-up.
Provide top management with weekly and monthly reports of all KPIs; and highlight areas where urgent actions are required
Take initiative to review current practices and systems of all areas and suggests SOPs to senior management for improvements.
Address employees’ personal & professional issues or grievances and positively contribute to union negotiations & agreements
