CSSD Technician / Sterilization Specialist

Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) Technician responsible for the critical cleaning, maintenance, packing, and sterilization of all surgical instruments to ensure faultless outcomes and infection control.

Core Responsibilities:

Sterilization Process: Prepare instrument and gown sets. Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ULTRASONIC washers/dryers, steam sterilizers, and Gas sterilizers as per SOPs.
Infection Control: Strictly enforce safe handling practices and infection control arrangements to ensure product quality and a sterile environment.
Documentation: Appropriately identify and maintain detailed records of all sterilization loads and supplies.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Education: 2 years of relevant diploma.
Certifications: Certification of BLS/ALS (Basic/Advanced Life Support) is a plus.
Skills: Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization principles; strong communication skills.
