We are recruiting Production Manager - Textiles on behalf of our client. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply:
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of working experience in garments stitching organization.
- Should be able to check the stitching quality of karate uniforms.
- Excellent knowledge about stitching fabrics and processing.
- Should be able to manage a workforce of around 300-400 workers.
- Should be able to communicate day to day production problems and update on production orders status.
- Understands the process of Chain manufacturing and relayed problems
- Job will be to ensure that the production department meets its quality assurance and scheduling goals by planning, scheduling, executing, and directing production activities.
To be a good production coordinator, a person must be flexible enough to adapt to changes in scheduling, able to think on the fly, and able to handle high-stress decision-making scenarios.
The production coordinator has a hand in all parts of production, and so they must have excellent working knowledge of their organization and industry. They may also need to conduct research and complete paperwork as required by their team or supervisors.
Main Job Duties:
1) Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to expedite production: Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
2) Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
3) Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments.
4) Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays.
5) Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
