Qualification:
Member of a recognized professional body, partly qualified accounting professional or a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree holder from a recognized university or equivalent.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Analytical skills, critical thinking and multi-tasking;
- Ability to work under pressure, problem solving skills and decision making;
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, operations, policies &procedures and internal controls;
- Report writing skills;
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Team Leader in the conduct of audit, surprise inspection and investigations. Perform audits and investigations in line with the Engagement Plan under supervision of Team Leader;
- Perform standard audits test on sample prescribed in the Engagement Plan selected from area of operation assigned to him/her, gather audit evidence and generate exception from the checklist;
- Provide appropriate comments/reasons in response to Engagement Planner comments in AMS for area assigned;
- Perform audit tests, not part of BAC, required by specific operational area or situation and draft exception accordingly for review of TL and Regional Head Audit. This new exception would be incorporated in report after clearance from Regional Head Audit;
- Recommend new audit tests and exceptions for inclusion in the BAC;
- Perform audit test on increased sample where exceptions are more than tolerable risk level;
- Check compliance of previous audit reports as per sampling criteria;
- Check the rectification status of exceptions highlighted by ‘Review of CAPU’;
- Request Team Leader for approval of additional time/man-days required to complete audits, surprise inspections and investigations along with justifications;
- Discuss audit findings, with the auditee, under the supervision of Team Leader and Manager/ Associate Manager Audit, if deemed necessary;
- Draft Audit Report of audit activities performed and submit to Team leader on daily basis for onward sharing with the auditee for timely rectification;
- Submit daily draft audit reports with supporting annexures to auditee for timely spot rectification;
- Review and check spot rectification submitted by auditee and mark in report as per instructions;
- Support Team Leader in preparing and submitting different information/progress reports to the line control;
- Prepare working papers of areas audited which must be supported by sufficient and appropriate audit evidence to corroborate audit activities performed during audit engagements;
- Assist Team Leader in responding queries raised by Regional Head/Manager/Associate Manager during reviews;
- Carry out inspections, investigations, examinations or reviews assigned by line management;
- Execute surprise inspection of branches allocated to him as per defined scope;
- Verify refund claims as per branch records and forward documents to Manager/AM Audit;
- Prepare and submit report on exercise of break opening of lockers, as assigned by line management;
- Perform any other task assigned by the line Management.
