AllSorter (a recruitment solution provider) is looking for an entry-level Software Engineer. This is a work from home position that will initially be contracted for six months and may convert to permanent based on performance. The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences or related discipline and one to two years of market experience. The candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision and should have experience of working on web based Java applications. The candidate should also have good communication skills in English.
The position will provide you with an opportunity to work on many cutting edge technologies as well as exposure to European market. The role will involve working on major aspects of software development like design, development and production support.
The following skills are a must.
Strong skills in the Java programming language are needed. Good knowledge of web application development will be appreciated (Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS). The candidate should also be able to demonstrate good command on database concepts and experience in any one of the popular Database Management Systems will be good. The candidate should also have some knowledge about version control systems and common development practices.
Knowledge about following is not required but is highly desirable.
Docker, AWS, Play Framework, PostgreSQL, REST, Git, JIRA
