Alpha Capital is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of three years of experience to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will oversee account reconciliation processes and ensure timely and precise financial data management. Additionally, you will manage a team of five persons, fostering collaboration and driving efficiency within the accounting department.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong expertise in Excel and other accounting tools, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity. You will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, analyzing financial data, and assisting in budget preparation. Your leadership skills will help guide the team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality in all accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including account reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare financial statements and reports with accuracy and timeliness to support business decisions.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of a team of five accounting professionals to ensure effective workflow and collaboration.
- Utilize Excel extensively to analyze data, create complex spreadsheets, and generate financial models.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data and documentation promptly.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records to support audits and compliance requirements.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and support organizational goals.
