Must have experience of managing operations ideally in hypermarket / grocery stores
Candidate must be bold and willing to take up the challenging task this job will offer.
Candidate will be responsible for
- Setting up complete operations of multiple small grocery stores
- Identifying locations for opening small grocery stores
- Setting up procedure for bulk purchasing initial stock for stores with the procurement officer
- Setting up procedure for dialy purchase of stock and ensuring record keeping for all purchase
- Setting up procedure for cash collection and deposit from all stores
- Setting up record keeping procedures
- Expanding the no. of stores as per quarterly targets
- Shortlisting the salesman for each store and other office support staff
- Ensuring complete record keeping
- Co-ordination with all sales staff and procurement officer for smooth supply of daily purchase
- Setting up procurement process in co-ordination with purhacsing officer to ensure central purchasing for all stores
- Improving the margins by negotiating with the suppliers and vendors and by finding new vendors with co-ordination with procurement officer
- Ensuring seamless operations and tackling any challange as it arise
