We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for planning and implementing of tests.
You are responsible to fully test the product or system to ensure it functions properly and fits its purpose as well as meets the business needs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
- Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements
- Work with firmware developers
- Prove for scalability and performance of a software
- Detect bug issues, prepare file bug reports, bug summary report and analyze bug reports as required.
- Test Engineer requirements and qualifications
- Graduate from any reputable university and posses 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing or similar role
- Should have understanding of QA and application development life cycle of Web APP, Mobile APP, and IOT systems
- Experience in wide range of Open Source Software, Mobile APPS and location-based services
- Experience of working in an agile environment
- Excellent knowledge in testing skill, setting up of test environments, designing test plans, test strategy, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs.
- Experience of creating test cases for functional. UAT, integration tests, Web APP, mobile APP and IOT system
- Skilled in methods/techniques of functional and non-functional testing such as Black/Whitebox, UAT, SQL Testing, boundary analysis, smoke, sanity, regression, stress, load, performance, compatibility test, UI/UX test, performance testing etc.
- Understanding the basic SQL/programming concept
- Should skilled in using testing tools of bug tracking and management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, qTest, Mantis and automated tools like Selenium and blaze meter preferable.
- Critical thinker, problem-solving skills, Good time-management skills, interpersonal skills, communication skill, needs to be tactful and diplomatic to maintain a good working relationship with the software developers, ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines.
