Candidate will report to the Production Head and will manage Production, Planning and Scheduling, Maintenance, QC, Safety and Employee Development. The candidate will drive maximum utilization of equipment, materials and personnel necessary to achieve safety, cost, cycle time and other objectives in support of the business objectives. In order to drive production efficiency, maximum utilization, and continuous improvement that drive business objectives. In meeting these objectives, the Operations Officer will have to lead, influence and communicate effectively with all employees within the plant. Within the first year the candidate will have to learn the process, equipment capabilities, material and supplied that are needed to successfully operate production. He will be tasked with owning continuous improvement initiatives to continue driving success and continuous growth within the plant. Upward mobility will include the possibility of an expectation to lead the second shift operation as the facility continues to grow towards new capacity and additional production volume.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, direct and coordinate production in a paint manufacturing plant
· Support the Production Manager in the day-to-day operation of the plant and provide back-up coverage to the Production Manager
· Provide direct leadership and supervision to Production team including their performance, development and mentorship
· Support other departments as needed, while developing their skills
Qualifications
Min Bachelor’s Degree {BSc (Hons.) Chemical Engineering}
At least 6-10 Years of production leadership and supervisory experience within an industrial and manufacturing company.
