A leading garment manufacturer & Exporter of woven Garments (Bottoms) based in Lahore, is looking for an ideal candidate to lead the IE Department.
- Setting up of Industrial Engineering Department in the factory
- Implementing the Productivity Improvement Program for the Factories in Cut to Pack all departments
- Steering the IE Dept to improve methods, productivity & Efficiencies
Main Job Responsibilities
- Supervising production related tasks including planning, control, and troubleshooting; setting up production targets and achieving the same within time and cost parameters & conducting weekly lean project review with the process owners.
- Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with engineering consultants/collaborators, external suppliers, contractors & clients; sending project progress report to customers.
- Monitoring development with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance; evaluating production progress & taking adequate corrective actions
- Leading & motivating workforce; imparting continuous job training for accomplishing greater operational usefulness.
- Managing/Planning and organizing day-to-day shop floor activities and resolving procedural & logistical problems as appropriate to the timely completion of various processes.
- Formulating SOP for new processes/ equipment for ensuring environment, health & safety aspects. Submitting periodical reports of quality indices to senior management
- Interfacing with people at all levels, managing healthy work environment & inculcating bonded teamwork with high work ethics; reporting the KPI to the head office.
- Executing method and time study for bottleneck operations to facilitate smooth production
- Ensuring the 5S in the shop floor; ensuring all the lean projects are going as per target dates
