Amigo Software is seeking an individual who has a true passion for writing and technical expertise required to document multi-layered software & CTI applications.
This position reports to the Lead Technical Writer in a small team environment that partners closely with the development & SQA teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Lead Technical Writer to understand business line objectives and how that translates to writing activities
- Document functionality of in-house developed software products & CTI applications in the form of feature lists, admin guides, installation guides and user manuals.
- Create documents that follow standards set by Amigo Software to elaborate use of in-house developed products & software to their target audience.
- Conducting meetings and one-on-one discussions with development & SQA teams to understand new features & feature enhancements developed for existing line of software products.
- Write blog articles to promote one of our upcoming software product.
- Proofread and edit technical documentation for clarity, accuracy, grammar, consistent terminology, and style
- Perform additional job related duties as needed
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to research and comprehend complex technical concepts
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Organized and attention-to-detail approach with strong tactical execution
- Ability to work in an open office environment
- Ability to work and meet deadlines in a fast-pace work environment
