We’re looking for a seasoned Android developer to join our mobile team. You’ll be a self-starter with the ability to take on a range of hard and intriguing challenges. You will work on mobile apps, focusing on our app for Android devices.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
1+ years of experience developing and releasing Android apps. Must have worked on at least 1 app released to the store. Strong knowledge of Java & Kotlin. Excellent knowledge of the Android release processes. Excellent understanding of OOP standards and best practices. Good understanding of OOP design patterns. Good knowledge of the REST standard and JSON format. Strong understanding of the Android framework lifecycle. Experience with TDD and UI & Unit Tests Experience with Source Control (Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc) Strong debugging skills. Curiosity in new technologies Proactive and problem-solving attitude. Attention to detail. We'll give you extra credits for Good understanding of UI/UX phases in the development cycle. Experience with another OOP language (C#, Java, etc) Experience with Agile / Scrum / Kanban development procedures. Experience with DevOps - Continuous Deployment, automated builds and single-click release processes and tools (i.e. fastlane, Jenkins).
