Job Responsibilities:
Following is the list of responsibilities for Assistant store at DRM store. However, AM store/Store Officer can assign additional responsibilities as per need of department.
- Support to AM/store officers for maintaining stock MIN/MAX levels
- Suggesting stock requirements (PR) and store operation improvements to AM
- Goods receiving physically (engineering spares) on regular basis.
- stacking material before quality inspection on their relevant racks (inspection rack/rejected material racks)
- Shelving received material on their relevant storage locations after inspection
- Marking/labeling item codes and description on each piece of item before shelving
- Gate passes processing for rejected/master sample while suggested vehicle on site
- Preparation of DRR and submitting to store officer
- Highlighting of material received without PR/PO to store officer
- Material issuance (Local engineering spares)
- Material issuance for import spares with consent of store officers
- Ensuring of receiving of replacement (used, damaged consumables) while material issuance.
- Making sure for reservation has been made by the user for issuance.
- Receiving reservation number from user by ensuring reservation is correct and stock is available for issuance.
- Physically picking the material from storage location and issue to the user
- Posting of the reservation (Local engineering spares and Import spares)
- Monitoring current stock levels and suggest for new requirements (PR) to store officer/AM
- Material issuance on MIR in support to store officer
- Support to store officer in follow-up for material issued on MIR
- maintaining good housekeeping in store
- Waste segregation and safe storage for sale out
