AMS-Power & Industrial Engineering Private Limited requires the services of an experienced, dedicated, hardworking, and well-connected Business Development & Proposal Engineer who will be responsible for end-to-end completion of high-quality Construction proposals, quotations, bids, and tender responses and Business Development of ongoing projects.
Activities/Responsibilities
- Lead business development & proposal activities in the company.
- Acquire new business for the company.
- Develop & execute business development plans regularly.
- Generate new leads through all available channels: networking, events, personal & professional contacts, media, etc.
- Constant engagement & liaison with current and future clients.
- Regular inquiries & follow-ups on upcoming projects via emails, cold calling, etc.
- Regular meetings & site visits with potential clients.
- Preparing and delivering company presentations for clients.
- Prepare technical and financial bids according to the ITB / RFQ documents.
- Prepare estimates per industry standards, man-hours working, cost controlling, etc.
- Take off BOQ, quantities, price re-measurement, etc.
- Observe construction & EPC projects all over the country.
- Observe & follow government policies for the country’s construction industry and overall economy.
- Identify & pursue projects of interest to acquire the business.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of industry experience with relevant experience in business development and proposal preparation.
- 1+ years of field experience at a construction project (power plant, cement, O&G, MEP, etc.)
- Should have experience preparing bids for medium to large-size construction projects in the industry.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering. Mechanical Engg. is preferred.
- Excellent communication and social skills with a presentable personality.
- Previous experience in an engineering /construction company.
- Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
Software Skills
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Prima Vera (preferred)
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- CRM systems (preferred)
