Job Description

The Deputy General Manager will execute his duties to the highest possible standards. It is expected that the Deputy General Manager should have background in the field (Technical aspect) and subsequently in the office performing BD work. The DGM (BD/Proposal and projects) Possessing vast experience capability and will be responsible for:-

Job Responsibilities of Deputy General Manager:

  • Directing and organizing the project teams to achieve scopes and schedules on time and on budget.
  • Monitoring, forecasting and reporting on progress against project objectives. 
  • Capable of monitoring and supporting site operations in all aspects from inception to successful completion including cost control, planning and scheduling.
  • Experience and sound knowledge of all construction terminology, documentation, contract documents, drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
  • To arrange the resource for plan of jobs by coordinator with execution team.
  • To indicate & highlight the problems to client through mail or weekly meeting.
  • Format technical queries to resolve the Project issues by coordinating with client and execution team.
  • Identifies updated requirement of manpower, direct material, direct consumable and equipment.
  • Responsible for conducting all activities related to business development & Proposals.
  • Develop & implement the Business Development strategy.
  • Vigilantly keep a watch on construction & EPC projects all over the country and Middle East. Identify & pursue projects of interest to acquire business.
  • Liaison with current & past current Clients, farm long term relationships and continuously identify new business opportunities with them through cold calling or personal visits.
  • Meeting business revenue targets assigned by the company.
  • Prepare the bidding document for technical as well as commercial proposal.
  • Planning and scheduling of overall proposal activities.
  • To coordinate with Purchase as well as project & planning department for smooth completion of proposal.
  • Establishing and determining the cost for the specified project to ensure accurate cost allocation for all activities in line with the scope of project and BOQ.
  • To prepare and update prequalification document for registration of company to new customer.
