Analytics & Automation Manager

As the company enters a new AI-driven phase, it is seeking innovative AI professionals to develop machine learning solutions that automate workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and create impactful tools. This role offers the chance to work on AI projects that improve demand forecasting, optimize incentives, increase delivery accuracy, and automate customer care, directly benefiting millions across the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models supporting core services such as ride-hailing, food delivery, and payments.
- Extract meaningful features and insights from real-world data to inform model development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, product management, and analytics to solve challenges like OCR-based partner onboarding, dynamic pricing, route optimization, churn prediction, and fraud detection.
- Design and execute experiments, monitor model performance, and assist in deploying models into production environments.
- Maintain and improve monitoring systems to ensure machine learning models remain reliable and efficient.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, iteration, and accountability within the team.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Up to 3 years of practical experience with machine learning through internships, research, personal projects, competitions, or professional roles.
- Proficiency in Python programming, particularly with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals including classification, regression, cross-validation, and evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with at least one machine learning framework such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
- Excellent communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with deep learning techniques in areas like natural language processing, computer vision, or recommender systems.
- Exposure to large-scale data processing tools such as Spark, Hive, or cloud computing platforms.
- Knowledge of model deployment and monitoring tools, including Airflow and MLflow.

- A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing relevant machine learning projects is highly desirable.
