Anolie BPO is seeking a motivated SolidWorks Design Engineer with at least one year of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics and demonstrates strong expertise in product design and technical drawing. This role involves creating precise 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks CAD software, focusing on top-down assembly design and effective bill of materials management. The engineer will contribute to prototyping efforts and support the development of innovative mechanical products, ensuring designs meet quality and functional specifications. The SolidWorks Design Engineer works independently without managing a team but collaborates closely with cross-functional groups to drive product development from concept to completion. The position demands strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to transform technical requirements into accurate design models in a timely manner. The engineer will maintain clear documentation, participate in design reviews, and apply best practices in assembly modeling to enhance product manufacturability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks CAD software.
- Perform assembly modeling with a focus on top-down assembly design strategies to ensure efficient product integration.
- Create and manage bills of materials accurately to support production and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with prototyping teams to translate design concepts into physical prototypes and validate functionality.
- Review design specifications and apply engineering standards to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Conduct design iterations based on feedback from testing, manufacturing, and quality assurance to improve product designs.
- Document design processes, changes, and technical decisions thoroughly for future reference and regulatory compliance.
- Support cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and supply chain, by providing technical assistance related to product design.
- Analyze potential design risks and propose solutions to mitigate engineering challenges during the product development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in SolidWorks software and product design methodologies to continuously improve design efficiency.
- Maintain organization of design files and ensure proper version control to support collaborative engineering workflows.
- Participate in design reviews to present concepts, receive input, and incorporate suggestions to enhance product outcomes.
