We're looking for multiple Intermediate Level WordPress web developers who can help build sites from the ground up using WordPress and other WP platforms. Sites need to be clean, SEO-friendly and provide a strong user experience.
You will be involved in all phases of the project's lifecycle. We are looking for a self-starter who doesn’t just make a requested change, but also looks at how that change may affect other areas of the site and makes recommendations accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- Design, create and modify WordPress websites
- Help perform site rebuilds and site migrations, including transferring of all content and relevant SEO data
- Troubleshoot various items on existing sites like contact forms, email hosting, or sites going down
- Troubleshooting WordPress website issues and able to perform maintenance on existing WordPress Websites.
- Perform site speed optimizations.
- Analyze business requirements and advise on the best way to implement them in WordPress.
- Work independently without direct supervision and a team player at the same time.
- Fast learner & interested in new technologies
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Good Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress Hooks.
- Strong knowledge of current web design principles, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), responsive website development, and usability standards
Must be available during standard evening work hours (7 PM till 3 AM) and highly responsive/communicative.
