Job Description

  • Assists in creation of and delivery of training materials / programs for all levels of the field organization.
  • Identify developmental needs, determine learning and performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning or performance solutions.
  • In addition, this position will provide skilled and professional support for retail training programs for Field employees, and act as a liaison and project manager between the field organization and home office.
  • Drive achievement of the business results for the nationwide company operated & FR doors by applying various staff capability development interventions.
  • Identifies issues, observes patterns or trends of store/staff performance and trouble shoots any issues, develops solutions to close the gaps.
  • Be the Denim Leadership Advocate and lead by example.
  • Implement and roll-out all store policies and procedures as outlined by AMA Retail Operations Department.
  • Develop District Managers, Store Managers and field sales staff.
  • Consult with subject matter experts to build and revise course material.  
  • Assist in development and manage roll out strategy for new and re-launching programs.
  • Assist in maintaining project calendars and budgets for training programs.
  • Assist in development of key deliverables on outsourced projects, including: prototypes, course materials including documentation and job aids, leaders’ guides, class plans, computer-based training testing (alpha/beta, user acceptance, pilot, etc.)
  • Assist in delivery of train-the-trainer (T3) courses, as needed.
  • Measure impact of learning solutions; help distribute reports for home office and field employees; tracks metrics.  
  • Monitor SharePoint Training site for the field.
  • Independently manage calendars and handle meeting logistics.
  • Lead and complete ad-hoc projects as assigned and support training activities as needed
