Inventory Planning and Replenishment
· Generate Seasonal inventory forecasting plan on SKU level based on past performance, trends, targets and margins including placing targeted bets.
· New production confirmation to meet inventory deficit to cover expected sales/ targets.
· Follow up on on-going production with sourcing as per PO and updating the records.
· Replenishment plan based on past sales trend and management decision.
· Timely inventory dispatch and replenishment of stock to all stores
· Maintain daily/weekly stock movements and generate demand based sale and purchase plan.
· Work on branch/Product level in detail for dead and excess stocks and settle dead stocks and excess ones by re-distribution/calling back stock to Warehouse.
· Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management on category level (vertical and Horizontal SKU’s Levels).
· Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data and suggest solutions for improvement
· Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach
· Assist forecast and inventory planning meetings with Area Managers, reviewing recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals (emphasis on brand transitions, new product introduction, and promotions).
· Proactive strategic planning to maintain gross margins during reduction and peak seasons.
· Developing Product profile for the new stores opening keeping in view the Store and area category with appropriate product mix (Sale drivers and high profit contributors).
· Minimizing inventory shrinkage by coordinating with marketing, retail and quality department depending on the type of inventory.
· Minimizing ageing inventory in coordination with directors, retail and E-store.
· Plan and decisions on un-used/ scrapable inventory to keep the books clean and fresh.
Logistics
· Managing outbound Logistical operations cost and time effectively for retail and E-store both.
· Inbound logistics/ imports from China or from any other foreign supplier.
· Steps to minimize logistics cost/ freight without compromising on in-transit time and quality.
Warehouse Management
· Organizing warehouse on international standards of warehousing.
· Warehouse team management – liaise in between them and, (HR, accounts or upper management if required).
Reports to be maintained
· Day to day inventory status – store by store, main warehouse (retail & E-store).
· Ongoing analysis of category, product performance and inventory turns by stores and make recommendations based on margins, dead stock, geographic analysis etc.
· Fast and slow moving inventory analysis.
