Areeb Areel Mart & Warehouse is seeking a dedicated Mart Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the mart. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in retail or mart supervision and demonstrate strong skills in customer service, point of sale systems, merchandising, and staff scheduling. This role requires managing a team of 20 persons, ensuring high standards in service quality, inventory management, and overall customer satisfaction.
The Mart Supervisor will lead and motivate the team, coordinate activities across different departments, and implement efficient processes to optimize sales and operations. This position demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues promptly to maintain an excellent shopping experience for customers while supporting the companys business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of 20 staff members, ensuring proper scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Oversee daily mart operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training staff on service standards and promptly handling customer inquiries and complaints.
- Manage point of sale systems to facilitate smooth and accurate transactions and resolve any technical issues.
- Coordinate merchandising activities to maintain an appealing and organized store layout that maximizes sales opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform stock counts, and work with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of products.
- Implement and enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational best practices.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, staff attendance, and operational challenges.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members to build a competent and motivated workforce.
